Company President Mike Rupers founded Direct Express Auto Transport in 2003 and still owns the company. Mr. Rupers removed caller id from our phone system. Our staff does not know whether the caller wants to receive a quote, place an order, or has some other issue. That's very different from our major competitors who often steer callers into voice mail oblivion. We deal with everything head on as it happens. We take care of little issues before they can become big ones. We hire only intelligent, nice people, especially if they have a sense of humor, because we think customers enjoy that too. We lose business by not telling the customer what they want to hear. But we gain even more business by shooting straight. More people appreciate that than not. Mr. Rupers owns several web sites, using autotransportdirect.com and allproautotransport.com to facilitate domestic USA business, and autoshippingdirect.com to handle specifically the Hawaiian Island to Mainland USA business. INSURED All of our domestic road carriers are fully insured with a minimum of three quarters of a million dollars of liability insurance plus cargo insurance. Because it is almost never necessary, the ocean or boat legs of any shipment are not covered port to port.
