The E-Class name first appeared with the W124, which was launched in 1986. Granted, early gasoline models of the W123 bore the “E” designator, as it stood for Einspritzer which means fuel injection. The entire line through was officially now “the E-Class”. The 300D engine was a persistent high-mileage option, but V8 engines, which became available after 1992, brought new-found power to the line. The cars were rebadged from “300 E” to “E 320″ to be in accordance with the new Mercedes- Benz naming practice. It had to be renamed as it contained a new 3.2 litre engine.

Mercedes also offered a limited release sport version of the W124, which was created in close cooperation with Porsche. This combination of companies should guarantee an excellent product. There is no excuse for anything less. This joint model was called the 500 E, and set the standard for modern sports sedans. Many people have gone so far as to claim that the W124 was the last true Mercedes- Benz. This of course is in response to the buyout of Mercedes- Benz by DaimlerChrysler.
Mercedes-Benz Luxury Sedan Models For Vehicle Shipping
The new parent company has been accused of skimping on research and development, and then that had allegedly lead to poorer made cars that are certainly not up to the standards of the older Benz models. This of course seems to not be the case, as Benz has come forward with some great models in the last few years. For example, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and the E 430 has proven to be a great model that includes a nice combination of performance and luxury. Benz used to be accused of over engineering, and then they seemed to shift too far to the world luxury and allow the mechanics to slip. However, the E 430 is a great combination of both. It is available with numerous four, six and eight-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines. Vehicle shipping rates for the E 430 are available here using our original shipping quote calculator.
