Car Shipping for Suzuki Esteem The Suzuki Esteem, which is known in some markets as the Suzuki Baleno, is an automobile produced by the Suzuki Motor Corporation. It is the export version of the Suzuki Cultus Crescent. The Esteem was at first offered as a 3-door hatchback and 4-door sedan, with 1.3 L and 1.6 L engines. These had power ranging between 85 PS and 99 PS. However, in 1996, the lineup was extended with the Suzuki Esteem Wagon, which was Suzuki's first station wagon. It also included the same 1.6 L, which had an optional 4WD variant. The Esteem was first introduced in the global market in 1995 at a time that was dominated by European cars such as the VW Golf and the Opel Astra. Further domination was had by Japanese models such as the Nissan Sunny and the Toyota Corolla.

Suzuki redesigned the Esteem in 1999, and gave the car a new front end, with a rounder grille and new headlights. The engine lineup was also expanded at this point. Mazda supplied the 1.8 L BP engine, which was fitted to the sedan and the wagon. In North America, the Suzuki Esteem 1.8 station wagon replaced the Esteem 1.6. In some European markets, the 1.8 L was installed in the hatchback and badged as the limited edition Baleno GTi. Europe also gratefully gained a Diesel version, with a 75 PS XUD engine supplied by Peugeot. The Suzuki Esteem was built on the same platform as the Suzuki Swift, with a stretched wheelbase and improved cabin room. However, it shared most of its parts with the smaller model. Nevertheless, it was marketed as an all-new and separate model. The Esteem was later replaced in most markets by the new Aerio. It was dropped from the market in Europe and North American in 2002.
