Car Shipping for Saab 9-3x Somehow Saab manages to badge their models in a manner that creates confusion among the public. For example, the Saab 9-3 is pronounced ‘nine three’. However, the Saab 93 is pronounced ‘ninety three’ and was a model produced from 1955 to 1960. Furthering the perplexity, the model is badged as a 93, although Saab consistently markets it as the 9-3. Anyhow, the model at hand is the 9-3, which was launched in 1998 and was later supplanted by a newly created 9-3 in 2003. This model is a compact car manufactured in Trollhattan, Sweden, whereas the convertible version is manufactured under license in Austria. The platform of the 9-3 is shared with the Opel Vectra and the Cadillac BLS. The model includes the signature Saab innovation 'Night Panel', which allows the driver the ability to dim the instrument panel lighting, except for essential information, for less distraction when night driving. In terms of power, it was only delivered through the front wheels to either a four-door sedan, a wagon, or a two- door convertible.

It is noteworthy that this model is the safest car in its class. It achieved this title by including innovations such as the Saab Active Head Restraints, which reduce whiplash, and ReAxs, which is a passive rear wheel steering system to reduce under steering. A few years later, a special 20 Years Edition Aero Convertible was launched for the American market. It was showcased at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 2006, as a commemorative model to celebrate the 20 years since the introduction of the Saab 900 convertible. This model came equipped under the hood with two optional engines: a 2.0 liter turbo 4 cylinder or a new 2.8 liter turbo 6 cylinder. This fresh new take on the 9-3 was following in some impressive footsteps, as the first generation 9-3 was manufactured to the tune of 326,370 units.
