Additional Alfa Romeo GTVCar Shipping Information:
Car Shipping for Alfa Romeo GTV Since 1995, the Italian automaker Alfa Romeo has been manufacturing the GTV. This beauty of a car was released at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1995. The GTV had some enormous shoes to fill in replacing the long-discontinued Alfa Romeo GTV6 coupe. The GTV is a 2+2 coupe - which thankfully reduces insurance premiums. The Alfa Romeo GTV was intended as a gentleman's sports car, which aimed to please with creature comforts such as leather, air conditioning and a respectable stereo. (Obviously the stereo was not respectable enough given that most of the 1995-1997 cars have aftermarket radios fitted.) Consumers were also delighted to learn that removing the rear seats can minimally enlarge the very tiny boot space. The GTVs were placed on a heavily modified version of the Fiat Tipo platform with an all new multilink rear suspension, which allowed passive rear steering. A 2.0 V6, known as the V6 TB, was created to sidestep an Italian law that put an extra tax on cars with engines bigger than 2L. In reality it is essentially the same engines as the 3L V6, yet compressed to two liters. An added turbo gave the driver extra power so that you could have nice performance without paying that tax. Nothing got by Alfa Romeo with this model!

The GTV was revamped in 1998, which can be identified by the addition of a chrome rim around the Alfa shield in the bonnet. The interior was also redesigned and drivers had the option of selecting a six-speed gearbox for the 3.0 24V. Again in 2003, the Alfa Romeo GTV underwent another, more comprehensive facelift ' which was launched under much anticipation at the Geneva Motor Show. Aesthetically, the front end was modified to included a much deeper 147-style front grille, which was by far the most notable change that was made.
