Additional Mercedes-Benz S 430Auto Transport Information:
Auto Transport for Mercedes-Benz S 430 As with each new S-Class, the S 430 brought in new innovations such as Airmatic air suspension and Active Ventilated seats, which uniquely use miniature fans in the seats to move air through perforations. Other options available included keyless entry and ignition, a radar-controlled cruise control system and a cylinder shut-off system called Active Cylinder Control. This model belongs to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the common description for a series of large luxury flagship sedans produced by Mercedes-Benz, a division of DaimlerChrysler. The S 430 was offered with more engine options than the W 126 or W 140. The range started with a smaller 3.2L 224 hp V6 motor, which was superseded by an enlarged 3.7L 245 hp V6 in S350. Further, 4MATIC all wheel drive was introduced to the North American S-Class for 2002.

Later, the S 430 was powered by a 4.3L 279 hp V8 and the S 500 was powered by a 5.0L 306 hp V8. The S 55 AMG was outfitted with a supercharged 5.4L 493 hp V8 motor and the S 600 was outfitted with a 5.5L 493 hp V12 twin turbo engine. As part of the Mercedes S-class, the S 430 has been produced continuously since 2000 and has been a huge hit among Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts, particularly in the United States. It is built on Mercedes-Benz's W 220 platform and replaced the S 420, which was sold between the years 1994 and 1999. The W 220 platform was launched in late 1998 to overhaul several cars in the German company's flagship S-series lineup. It delivers in the neighborhood of 300 horsepower depending on the model year thus making it an even bigger hit. But, in reality, one cannot go wrong in the S Class. All of the models have shown to be powerful and reliable, which is more than can be said for some automakers.
