Auto Transport for Mercedes-Benz C 240 The Mercedes- Benz C 240 was produced from 2001 through 2005. This was a short four years that unfortunately were plagued with complaints by consumers and drivers. It was a compact version of the S-Class and was initially met with great enthusiasm, which as stated, turned quickly to displeasure. It initially seemed like a great car and it was catchy because it was so small. However, that turned out to be its downside. It was too small. Not to mention, there were complaints about mechanical issues, which are really just inexcusable for a brand like this. When someone buys a Benz, they do not want to be wondering when their transmission or engine is going to fail them. Specifically, complaints surfaced about transmissions and electrical systems along with the 'its too small' grumble, which ultimately pushed the car out of production. On the other had, there are other drivers with ones still on the road who claim to love their C 240 for its handling and comfortable, quiet driving abilities.

This automobile is part of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, which is an entry-level luxury car segment that is ultimately produced by the German automaker DaimlerChrysler. The C-Class was first introduced in 1993 as an alternate for the 190 range. It was the most affordable model in the Mercedes lineup until the arrival of the A-Class in 1998, which has spawned a new breed of luxury car buyers. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is built at Mercedes-Benz factories in the German towns of Sindelfingen and Bremen, as well as in DaimlerChrysler's South African factory in East London. The very first C-Class sedan was produced on June 1, 1993 and the second generation C-Class rolled off the assembly line on July 18, 2000. The third generation is expected soon and is scheduled to be available for sale in Europe in late March 2007.
