Additional Mercedes-Benz 300Auto Transport Information:
Auto Transport for Mercedes-Benz 300 DaimlerChrysler has been the new owner of Mercedes- Benz since the mid-nineties. They designed the next model, known under the designation w210, and it suffered many quality and reliability problems due to cost cutting measures, which is of course short sighted and just plain bad business. The new owner of Mercedes- Benz believed that most customers would buy their cars simply for the status symbol of the badge and thus didn't over engineer the cars to the level that they should have been. What they forgot to consider was that Benz had made a name for itself only because their cars were so well engineered. Also the new owner was an American company and in America, where they had planned to market a large proportion of the models, there seems to be a difference to what is luxurious. This of course caused Mercedes- Benz's reputation to fall downhill dramatically and very quickly at that. The Mercedes-Benz 300 started out as a private venture in 1966 by a company engineer by the name of Erich Waxenberger. This invention culminated into the world's first Super Sedan.

The look and styling is credited to Paul Bracq. Oddly enough, the rather company went ahead and produced this car from 1968 onwards. Their motivation was to make better use of the M100 engine production facilities, but it turned out to be much more rewarding than that. In the 1970s, the Mercedes-Benz 450 SEL replaced the 6.3 with even more modifications and power. The performance is extraordinary even by today's standards as it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, and complete the quarter mile 14.42 seconds. What is even more impressive is that it can do all this despite a total weight of 2400 kg. Partly, Benz owes a lot of credit to their design and engineering team. Not to mention, their hand crafters are due a great deal of respect as well. Because of these people, the brand has been elevated to the level at which it is today.
