Additional Chevy Van G30Auto Transport Information:
Auto Transport for Chevy Van G30 The van market is a particularly tricky market to get too excited about. The models are generally not that attractive, and they appeal to only a niche market. However, Chevrolet has continued to manufacture exceptional models in this segment. The reliability of the Chevrolet Van G30 is the same throughout all the G-series models, so that does not need to be taken as a consideration. In 2007, the NHTSA gave the Express a five-star frontal impact rating, and with few van options out there, both the Express and its sister model, the Savana, have secured nearly 50% of the market segment. For the 2005 year, there were almost no changes in the Express Passenger Van. There are a number of versions being offered such as the 1500, the 1500 All-Wheel Drive, the 2500, which seats 12, and the 3500, which seats 15. The 1500 Express Passenger Van is equipped with a Vortec V6 engine. The 1500 AWD features a 5.3L Vortec V8 pumping out 285 hp and the 2500 and 3500 models are equipped with a 6.0L Vortec V8 producing 300 hp. Further, the Express offers a fully converted, compressed natural gas system or bi-fuel system using either compressed natural gas or gasoline.

Over the years a number of variations have entered production such as the Chevrolet Beauville, the Bonaventure, the Chevrolet Sportvan, the 1/2 ton Chevrolet G10, the 1 ton G10, the Chevrolet G30 and the Chevrolet G31. A light duty version of the Chevrolet Express Vans, the G10, was manufactured alongside the G20. The earliest versions of the G10 used the Chevrolet passenger car rims until 1975. However, they can still handle LT tire sizes for better handling and improved stability. Further, the G20 series came equipped with a SB 262 4.3L engine, although not much else was changed mechanically over the years. Unfortunately for those who own G10s, there are currently more after market part options available for its V8 counterparts than for this particular model itself.
