Additional BMW M5Auto Transport Information:
Auto Transport for BMW M5 At the Amsterdam Motor Show in February 1985, the first BMW M5 was released to viewing. It was based on the E28 5 Series and was conceptualized out of demand for an automobile with the carrying capacity of a sedan, but with the overall performance of a sports car. The M5 delivered just that. It utilized the 535i chassis and an evolution of the engine from the BMW M1. The combination of equipment under the hood allowed the M5, at its launch, to take the title as the fastest production sedan in the world.

Car enthusiasts will relish in the fact that the E28 M5s were hand built in Munich until 1986. Thereafter, M5 production was moved to Garching where the remainder were still being built by hand. It looks as if the saying "things just aren't made like they used to be" really does apply in this scenario. Perhaps the hand crafting helped the M Sport automobiles to earn a reputation of offering blistering performance and the comfort of a luxury sedan. The newest 2006-2007 M5 features many of BMW's latest innovations, which makes this a car worth test driving at least even if you cannot afford to purchase. Features include a new head-up display. This new iteration of BMW's Electronic Damper Control constantly adjusts the suspension to environmental and vehicular conditions. This certainly has been a major technological advance that is well worth noting. Additionally, it can be set in 3 modes: comfort, normal and sport. Furthermore, the newest M5 features the variable valve timing system, and the engine management system. This means the M5 is running on the most powerful computer processor currently approved for automobiles known as the MS S65 processor. This processor manages and measures many other safety and performance systems such as the dynamic stability program. BMW has certainly been proactive in staying ahead of the technological curve.
