Additional Ferrari 308Auto Shipper Information:
Auto Shipper for Ferrari 308 Automobile brands do not get much better than Ferrari. The Ferrari 308 GT4 and the 208 GT4 were mid-engined V8-powered 2+2 cars. In 1974, the 308 GT4 was introduced, supplemented by the 208 GT4 the following year, and replaced by the Mondial in 1980. Total production of the Ferrari 308 came to a total of 2,826 units. In accordance with family priorities, the Ferrari 308 was first sold with the Dino badge, in honor of Enzo Ferrari's son, Dino, and then later sold with a Ferrari badge. The 308 GT4 was nothing short of a groundbreaking model for Ferrari in several ways. First, it was the first production Ferrari to feature the mid-engined V8 layout that would end up becoming the bulk of the company's business in the following decades. Secondly, it was the first production Ferrari to feature Bertone (rather than Pininfarina) bodywork. As expected, Pininfarina was upset by the decision to give cross-town rival Bertone the design, after all they had done for Ferrari.

The Ferrari 308 GT4 made a grand first appearance at the Paris Motor Show. It was very well received thanks to its angular lines which were entirely different from its curvaceous 2-seat predecessor, the Ferrari 246 "Dino" GT, and later brother, the 308 GT. Of course, is wouldn't be appropriate to not mention that there were critics who thought the styling was too futuristic for the time. However, it was still a magnificent car and had the body to prove it. The chassis was based on the 246 Dino but was stretched for a 2,550 mm wheelbase to make room for the second row of seats. The suspension was fully-independent and the V8 was mounted transversely. This obviously made it a dream to drive, not that many people can say they have driven one.
