The stylish, roomy Nissan Altima has consistently been the Japanese manufacture's best selling vehicle in its American lineup, and one of the overall best selling cars in the United States. This four door, midsize sedan is now in its fourth generation for 2007. The Altima made its debut on the market for the 1993 model year, as a replacement for the older Stanza model. It was made both taller and wider in size, and received another complete makeover, inside and out. A brand new 3.5 SL trim was added in 2005, along with several more across the board enhancements to the vehicle. In addition, four optional packages were made available to consumers during this year, to allow for further customization. Through the six trim styles offered today, a wide array of standard an optional equipment is offered including a fully loaded sound system with compact disc and CD changer, leather, heated seats, a sun roof and cruise control, allowing buyers to create a vehicle suited to their own individual taste and needs. The 2007 model year brought about the birth of a fourth generation Nissan Altima was unveiled an even more sophisticated design and roomier interior storage space.
