Infiniti FX35 SUV

The Infiniti Company joins a list of other automakers that are valued and preferred in the United States. The Infiniti FX is a mid-size luxury crossover Sport Utility Vehicle sold in two models: the first being the FX35 and the second being the FX45. The FX replaced the QX4 as Infiniti's mid-size luxury SUV, despite being larger than its predecessor. These were some huge shoes to fill given that the QX4 was a well-liked model and was respected by drivers. It was released at the same time as its competitors, the Porsche Cayenne and the Volvo XC90 making things even harder. It shares the same platform as the Nissan 350Z, whereas the similarly sized Nissan Murano is based on the Nissan Altima platform. Both the 2-Wheel Drive and the All Wheel Drive are fitted to a dual overhead cam (DOHC) 3.5-liter (3,498 cc) 24-valve V6. The Infiniti FX series was updated for 2006 with new options and new standard features. The updates included leather seats, a power tilt/telescope steering wheel, and a rear view camera with a color screen. This of course upgrades the vehicle in the minds of consumers who are looking to increase the safety of their sport utility vehicle. The rear camera has become very popular for families with children or even families with pets. The FX45 featured additional upgrades, including a 320 hp (239 kW) V8 engine, a standard sunroof, a Bluetooth system and aluminum roof rails. In trying to determine the difference between the FX45 and simply the FX, the taillights have been changed from red to clear on the Infiniti FX45. Given the opportunity, the FX45 would be the preferred model due to the luxury features that accompany it. Of course, the FX would be much better though than many other models on the market.
