Hummer H2 SUT 4dr SB

A new vehicle class has emerged known as Sport Utility Trucks ' SUTs. These models are nothing more than glorifies hybrid truck SUVs. The Hummer H2 SUT 4dr SB is one such model. It is the second vehicle sold under the Hummer marquee of General Motors. It is a large truck with four door and a small pickup bed. It is lighter and slightly slimmer than the Hummer H1, while it is slightly longer and slightly taller, thus leaving room for six passengers. One of the biggest downfalls of the SUT is that one really doesn't get the benefits of either a pickup or an SUV. For example, pickups are so functional because of the long bed for hauling goods, and often, the longer the bed the better. The H2 for example has such a short bed it is almost impractical to haul anything. Further, the benefit of an SUV is having interior cargo space. Again, with the respect to the Hummer H2, there is not any interior cargo space because it was sacrificed for the pickup bed. Essentially, there was a reason that the SUT did not exist before and this is it. But, people do have different preferences and for those who are looking for an impractical vehicle than the H2 SUT is certainly a good choice. They are currently being built under contract by AM General at a specially constructed plant in Mishawaka, Indiana, USA. The release of the H2 was initially a noteworthy event, and thus sales were initially strong. But, it seems that after actually taking a look at the new Hummer, buyers realized that it came nowhere close to the craftsmanship of the original model. Sales fell to 28,898 for 2004 and 23,213 for 2005. Nevertheless, the H2 was nominated for the North American Truck of the Year award for 2003.
