Subject: Newbie to transporting vehicles

Being my first time ever using a car transportation company, I had some major doubts about the process especially considering I would be transporting my car a considerable distance (Milwaukee, WI to Phoenix, AZ). Dealing with Direct Auto however, all worries were soon put to rest.

After scheduling my pick-up on a Wednesday (their staff couldn''t have been nicer), I already had an email Thursday morning informing me a driver had been assigned to pick-up my car. To my surprise, I then received a call that same day (Thursday) from the driver informing me he would be picking up my car Friday afternoon. He was right on time and was unbelievably friendly (so much so, my Mom wanted to invite him to dinner).

Once the car was on the road, the driver called me a couple times with a status and made sure his arrival schedule would work with mine. I was shocked to hear he would be arriving on Sunday (only 2 days after the car had been picked up!!). He got into town on Sunday as promised and was actually a few hours earlier than expected. The car was in great condition and the payment process was extremely easy (took all of 2 minutes).

I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone and I can see why they have a Better Business Bureau A+ rating. Kudos to Direct Auto and thank you for your great service!

Their automated quote system was quick and gave me a price that was a little below the average of all the calls received by other brokers. Their customer service and the driver answered questions and eased any fears during the transport of my car. The driver was timely and courteous and worked on the delivery end to offload at a convenient time for me. The fully refundable deposit gave me the initial confidence to use them; my experience (is)the motivation to post these remarks.

Excellent customer service!! The transporting company assigned to deliver my car was "top notch".

I had a horrible experience with another company in the past and so I was a bit on edge about whether or not my car would be picked up on time and for the original quote I was given.

Not only was it picked up on time...but EARLY! Also, the driver who picked my car up (Alvin) was so professional and courteous. Not your typical truck driver. A+++++ Don't waste your time calling around. The owner of the transporter company (Jeff) was super helpful and kept in constant contact with me along the way. GREAT customer service. These folks are honest and won't give you the run around. The price is the price. My car was dirty from the journey but that's to be expected.

The driver contacted us the afternoon before the available date to ask if he could pick up the car that evening. He was very helpful, friendly and professional. The car arrived in Florida one day early which was perfect for us. Everything went so smoothly we would definately do this again. It made going to Florida easy and quick. Our car was delivered shortly after we arrived. Our flight was perfect and our car delivery was perfect too! When we made our appointment with Direct Express, everyone was patient with all our questions and very helpful and friendly. Thanks Direct Express!

I had to transport a vehicle coming from AZ to CA a couple of years ago and had an awful experience. Frankly, I was expecting it agin with this transport...WAS I SURPRISED! From my first call to the delivery of our vehicle, EVERY aspect went smoothly! Autotransport Direct is superior in customer service, pricing and delivery! I like that I was alerted via email that the vehicle was picked up and the driver did a very good job of communicating with me for delivery. Keep up the good work!

We needed to move our vintage VW bus from Key West to a restorer in NH. I went online looking for a transportation company and found Direct Express Auto Transport. Their system was incredibly easy to use, all the important things like insurance and bonding were covered, the driver picked up and delivered on the day and at the time he was due. I would recommend them highly to anyone needing to move a vehicle and want reliable, quality, trustworthy partners to accomplish that.

i was skeptical at first to see how the whole shippings cars works and if it was worth the time and money. i was nervous at first as to wether or not to consider having a car shipped. After going online and doing some research on shipping companies here in GA, i came across there website and starting doing more and more research on this company. After days of doing intensive research i considered them more and more. when i finally got in contact with the seller who was located in CA, he was great enough to work with me on the shipping. All i had to do was call Direct Express and setup a pick up date and give sellers info as well as my info. after making that first call, they sent me an email with confirmation number and steps on how thier system works. very simple and easy. all i had to do was wait for a second email to arrive letting me know when a driver had been assigned to pick up my car i had just purchased. Long story short, this was the best and most easiest transaction ive ever been through. I will definitely consider using them again and referring my friends and co-workers to use them. Virgil (our truck driver) was there to pick up the car on time and arrived on est delivery date to deliver my car. i give them A+++++ for their customer service and propmtness and ease of communication. By far the best price for the service.

Anyways, just wanted to say Thank You to Direct Express for thier awesome service.

Overall, my experience with the company was really good, especially after the car was picked up. My only problem was that I needed my car to be picked up immediately, but it was over the New Year's weekend, which made this not possible. It would have been great it the company could guarantee date and time of pickup when you confirm, but I understand that that's not how the industry works. Once picked up, the driver kept in touch with me and everything went well with the transport of my brand new vehicle, and the cost was excellent.

This is the first time i transported a car through Direct Express and its a cake walk.. i referred my cousin and he is happy that he used Direct express because he got his car shipped from Texas to Virginia in 3 days (that is overall transport time including the time that driver got assigned)... overall it was a great experience... 5 stars... cheers

I called to set up for my car to be transported to TX to be delivered to my sister. They set everything up and sent me and email with all the information that day. They picked up the automobile the very next morning. Super lightening service through them. The driver took a day or two longer than estimated, but it was delivered and everything was good. I would defiinitely deal with Direct Express Auto Transport again.

I was pleased with the overall experience with Direct Express. Everyone I interacted with was courteous, professional and friendly. My driver maintained contact with me at pickup and delivery and was very professional. He arrived early at both ends but checked in with me if this would work for me.
What I thought was going to be a complicated process ended up being very simple from beginning to end. Moving cross country is stressful enough without having a major task such as shipping a car be traumatic or unpleasant in any way. Direct Express made this transition seamless and comparatively inexpensive for me. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

We sold our car to our son, neither of us could find a inexpensive way to get it to him. did a quick search on the internet found several companies that hauled cars. these guys were the only ones to answer the phone. after researching them a little bit I decided to ship with them. placed the order. 2 days later a truck pulls up to my home, loads the car in 30 minutes and delivers to my sons doorstep in Texas, 4 days and I didnt have to miss a Badger game. I would use this company again in a heart beat. I was very pleased with the service I got.

As part of my research in evaluating and selecting a carrier to transport our vehicle from Littleton, Colorado to South Florida, I found the reviews of others who had used this carrier to be very helpful, and therefore, wish to share my experience for anyone who may be interested.

Overall, our experience with this carrier was excellent. We contracted with them nearly a month in advance, and subsequently had to change our scheduled pickup dates several times. They were very flexible and accomodating. Our vehicle was picked up on the very first day of the "available for pickup" date and was promptly delivered to our new location within a four day period of time. The carrier called us about one hour prior to delivery to arrange for a delivery location. When we arrived at the agreed destination, the vehicle was already off the truck and waiting for us to drive away. Our vehicle was delivered in exactly the condition in which it was received. Additionally, the transport price was better than quotes received from other carriers.

As a first time transportee, I had no idea what to expect. I spent a lot of time doing research and talking to numerous transport companies. I ended up with lots of charts. When I contacted Direct Express (near the end of my exploratory search), Elise answered all of my concerns in a professional manner. Once the job was assigned, my concern rose when I could not find adequate information on the trucking company online. Direct Express allayed my fears by telling me they had done the research and that I should not be concerned. Indeed they were right, engaging a small company (redacted) that beat the route average in price, delivered the vehicle early without damage, and was entirely competent. The whole process went seemlessly from start to finish.
